Timelapse movies: the Alps in Switzerland
A new serie of very beautiful timelapse movies which Michael Rissi recorded last summer and autumn in the Swiss Alps.
Most locations are only reachable on foot, some need alpine hikes of 3-5 hours. Michael Rissi spent several weekends in cottages of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC), where he shot these clips.
Locations where Michael took this pictures: Diavolezza (Bernina Range, Graubünden), Gleckstein , upper Grindelwald Glacier (oberer Grindelwaldgletscher), Flüelapass (between Davos and Engadin), Schwyz , Rigi , Triftgletscher , Glärnisch, Julierpass , Trifthütte , Walensee , Churfirsten, Glarus , Kerenzerberg , Vrenelis Gärtli .
Michael Rissi shot all the scenes with a Canon EOS 50D , Canon L 16-35/f2.8, Sigma 17-70/f2.8 and Sigma 10-20/f4.0. Intervals were usually a few seconds (2 – 7 seconds), exposure times slower than 1/100s to prevent TV flicker. Filters used: Hoya ND400, Hoya circular polarizer.
