Timelapse of a cold winter’s day

With -20°C (-4°F) and cold winds outside, I chose to shoot this timelapse video from my living room window. Rather than risk venturing outside and freeze my fingers off :) This video features shots of sea smoke on the Trondheimsfjord and a sunset towards the end. It was shot on a Canon 7D with a 70-300mm lens. And I used the Canon TC-80N3 to time the intervals of the exposures. I used Quicktime 7 (you find it in your “Tools” folder if you’re running Snow Leopard) to export the image sequences as video files (Apple ProRes). Edited in Final Cut Pro. Color corrected in Apple Color. Made on February 23rd, 2010 in Leksvik, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway – 63.66° North, 10.64° East. Soundtrack: “That Town” by Sambassadeur Cast: Raymond Gangstad
