One of the “Tests” we all encounter at one point in life is an instance where your world as you perceive it comes crumbling down. Whether this is literal, in case of tens of thousands of Chileans, or figurative, with the athlete facing potential career ending injury. They are both devastating, they are both very real, and although the two are hardly comparable what they share is the very human trait: perseverance. It’s a complicated, yet seemingly simple ultimatum; Do you hang up your skis, or do you rebuild? This is a making of I made while I was directing a few Orange commercials in Chile this summer (european summer). I wanted to experiment doing timelapses and I thought this would be a great time to do it. Here’s some technical info: -CANON 7D -Contax CARL ZEISS Primes: 18mm f/4 28mm f/2.8 35mm f/2.8 50mm f/1.4 85mm f/1.4 -CANON 70-200 f/2.8 IS The music is “Weapon of Choice” by Fatboy Slim. Enjoy.
