Robin Foster feat. Dave Pen – Forgiveness

‘Robin Foster Feat. Dave Pen – Forgiveness’ Label: Last Exit Records Cast: Loic Lossouarn, Robin Foster, Dave Pen Directors: Peter King & David Procter Director of Photography: David Procter Editor: Peter King Colourist Edwin Metternich @Framestore CFC Flame Operators Savneet Nagi and Tim Osborne Camera: Filmscape Media Thanks to: Simon Gosling, Kevin Harvey, Anthony Holt davidprocterdop.com/ peterkingdirector.com/ With a budget of just £4k, we shot two half-days on location in Northern France with a skeletal crew, ie… just the two of us. Having become accustomed to large crews on our commercial projects it was quite liberating returning to a more guerilla production, although we had to pull in a lot of favours to make it happen. Add to the mix rough seas, a non-English speaking lead coupled with our lack of French, and a corpse… it was certainly memorable. Performative Architecture Studio 2011, Melbourne University – Performance Day

Website: pas2011.tumblr.com/ The Performative Architecture Studio 2011, University of Melbourne, Australia, was an exploration and study of digital architecture. Led by Dr Stanislav Roudavski, Gwyllim Jahn, and Roger Alsop, the team of 16 Masters-level students worked for 3 months to create a portable, interactive, and experimental installation, that culminated in this public performance. The studio explored inflatable architecture, parametrically designed and digitally fabricated; they created complex interactive behaviours with computational tools including Processing, Eclipse, and Max; and they studied the technical intricacies of lighting, sound, sensor, and projection equipment. The result of this studio’s work, as seen in this video, was exhibited to the public, both at the Open Stage at the Arts Centre on campus, and will be presented at Melbourne Central Shopping Centre for the Pause Digital Festival.
